Turkish media announced the start of the production of the TOGG electric car, which was developed locally to compete with similar vehicles from major international companies.
According to the available information, the new car, which comes in the form of a crossover Sensing, in a factory near the Turkish province of Inch, cost 3.7 billion dollars and has a maximum production capacity of 175,000 cars annually.
The new car, whose official name has not yet been announced, came with a medium-sized crossover body that is close in dimensions to the chassis of Tesla Model Y or Volkswagen ID.4 models, and the car was designed by Pininfarina design studios and was also equipped with lithium-ion batteries produced by the Chinese company Fariss.
The leaked images of the car show that its cabin was equipped with the latest technologies and received a distinctive stick to control speeds and driving modes. The driving interface was also equipped with a large touch screen that extends over its entire width, and another touch screen was installed below it.
The car is supposed to be launched in two models, a model with a rear-wheel drive system equipped with an electric motor with 272 horsepower and a battery enough to cut 300 km on a full charge, while the second model will get a four-wheel drive system, an electric motor with 544 horsepower, and a battery enough to cut approximately 500 km on a full charge, and it will be This model can accelerate from 0 to 100/h in 4.8 seconds.
