Today, Tuesday, Xiaomi held a special event in which it announced a number of its new products, the most prominent of which was a new series of Redmi phones.
The series includes the Redmi K60 Pro with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, the Redmi K60 with the older Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, and the Redmi K60E with the Dimensity 8200 processor.
Redmi K60 Pro
The most powerful phone in the new Xiaomi series, Redmi K60 Pro, which comes with a thickness of 8.6 millimeters and weighs 205 grams, offers a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 3,200 x 1,440 pixels with a frequency rate of 120 Hz, and it supports Dolby Vision image technology, HDR10 + technology, in addition to the Brightness level of 1,400 lumens.
Programmatically, the phone works with the MIUI 14 user interface based on the Android 13 operating system from Google, and its eight-core processor works at a frequency of 3.2 GHz with the Adreno 740 graphics processor.
The Redmi K60 Pro offers 8 GB, 12 GB, or 16 GB of RAM, and 128 GB, 256 GB, or 512 GB of internal storage, with the latest UFS 4.0 technology, except for the 128 GB option that supports UFS 3.1 technology.
On the back of the phone are three 54-megapixel cameras with an f / 1.9 main lens slot, and an 8-megapixel camera per second for ultra-wide imaging at an angle of 118 degrees, while the third camera for close-up photography comes with a 2-megapixel resolution with an f / 2.4 lens slot. The camera supports 8K video shooting at 24 frames per second, 4K resolution at 30 or 60 frames per second, 1080p resolution at a high rate of 960 frames per second, and 720p resolution at 1920 frames per second. The front camera comes with a resolution of 16 megapixels with 1080p shooting at 120 frames per second.
The phone comes with an optical fingerprint sensor under the screen, and it contains a 5,000 mAh battery with support for fast charging technology of 120 watts, and wireless charging of 30 watts. The company says it charges 100 percent in just 19 minutes.
This and the phone will be sold as of December 31, at a price starting at $ 475 for the 8 GB / 128 GB option, and at a price equivalent to $ 660 for the 16 GB / 512 GB option.
Redmi K60
This phone shares the form with the Redmi K60 Pro, as it offers the same specifications for the screen, the number of rear cameras in which the main one differs in accuracy with 64 megapixels with an f / 1.9 lens slot, the specifications of the random access memory, and the internal storage memory, which all come from the type UFS 3.1.
The phone also differs in the capacity of the battery, which comes with a capacity of 5,500 mAh, which is wired at a capacity of 67 watts.
Xiaomi intends to offer the phone at a price equivalent to $ 360 for the 8 GB / 128 GB option, and $ 515 for the 16 GB / 512 GB option.
Redmi K60E
This is the first of the K series phones with the letter E at the end, and it shares screen specifications with the other two phones, but the brightness level is 1,200 lumens instead of 1,400 lumens.
This phone shares battery specifications with the Redmi K60, but the main rear camera is 48 megapixels. The phone will be sold at a starting price of $ 315 for the 8 GB / 128 GB option.
