Google said it will launch Memory Saver and Energy Saver over the next few weeks for Windows, macOS, and Chrome OS.
About the mechanism of the memory saving mode, the company said that if the user has a group of tabs open in Chrome, which he plans to return to later, Memory Saver works to save memory by freeing up memory from tabs that are not currently used so that sites can enjoy The active web browsing with the best possible experience.
As for the power saving mode, the company said that if the battery power is almost depleted and there is no charger nearby and the battery power drops to 20 percent, the Energy Saver will save energy by reducing background activity and the visual effects of websites that contain On cartoons and videos.
Google explained that users will be able to control the customization of Chrome’s performance, after introducing the Memory Saver and Energy Saver modes, they will be able to turn them off if they wish, or select the most important websites that can be excluded from the Memory Saver feature.
