Musk said the user’s active minutes had peaked and were also at a very record high.

Elon Musk says new user registrations are at an “all-time high”. And it was on Saturday evening, the statement by Musk came a month after completing his takeover of Twitter, according to what the billionaire shared from a slideshow detailing the current state of Twitter and his current vision for the platform.

According to one of the graphs, Musk shared that shows that as of November 16, Twitter has added more than 2 million new users per day over the past week, and the number of daily sign-ups has increased by 66 percent compared to the same week a year ago in 2021.

Musk added that the average user’s active minutes were also at an all-time high. Twitter’s user base averaged nearly 8 billion active minutes per day over the past week as of November 15 — which is a 30 percent increase over the same Twitter account. The period from the last year 2021, according to what Musk shared.

Musk also used a graph to claim that impressions of hate speech and violence had declined recently, but there is evidence to suggest that Twitter recently stopped enforcing its hateful conduct policy as it applies to targeted harassment of transgender people.

On the other hand, according to multiple reports, Musk recently told employees that the company was losing so much money that bankruptcy “wasn’t out of the question,” since there’s data he decided not to share, and there isn’t a single chart that offers insight into Twitter’s financials. Some reports indicate that Twitter has lost 50 of the top 100 advertisers since Musk took over the platform.

Musk told Jordan Peterson that he sees “a path for the platform to pass 1 billion monthly users in 12 to 18 months” early Sunday morning. Achieving this goal, which Musk wants from Twitter, will require a significant increase in the number of subscribers. For example, if the company continues to add 2 million users per week, that means it will only achieve 104 million new users by the end of one year Musk’s goal. Twitter now has approximately 450 million monthly active users as of 2022.
