Today, many Instagram users have received notifications informing them that they have been denied access to the platform. The problem appears to have centered on iPhone users, some of whom said that the app stopped working and was not used properly prior to an update launched today.
It was also stated that preventing users from entering also led to a significant decrease in the number of followers, so the account of the famous football player Cristiano Ronaldo lost about 3 million followers from the 493 million followers who were present yesterday, and the official account of Instagram itself lost more than one million followers.
