Toyota is highlighting one of its pioneering green mobility solutions this week at the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference ( ADIPEC 2022 ); And that is by displaying the advanced electric vehicle, the Toyota Mirai which is powered by hydrogen fuel cells (FCEV); Throughout the four-day event.

In 2021, the Toyota Mirai entered the Guinness Book of World Records in the category of eco-friendly electric vehicles based on hydrogen fuel cells, which emit no carbon emissions; After setting a new record for the longest trip by a hydrogen fuel cell electric vehicle (FCEV) on a single fill, the class-leading vehicle traveled an unprecedented 1,360 km across Southern California on a single hydrogen fuel in just five minutes.
Fuel cell technology developed by Toyota in the early 1990s has become so diverse that it has found a wide range of applications not only in vehicles but also in trucks, buses, boats, and stationary generators.
The company is also currently conducting a number of studies and research to use this technology in trains, in addition to the lunar exploration spacecraft called “Lunar Cruiser” as part of the joint project with the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) announced in 2019.
